To gain a Diploma in Swedish Massage Therapy the student must:

  1. Hold an Anatomy & Physiology level 3 qualification. This must be completed before attending this three-day intensive Swedish massage Diploma training course.
  2. Practical training over 3 day intensive practical training in the academy post practical training you will carry out 50 hours of case studies to practice the skills learned. All 50 case studies must be fully completed to the required standard and submitted. You have up to 6 months to complete your case studies. You must also complete at home Guided learning hours, online theory and assessment, 150hours blended learning. Plus in person practical assessment.
  3. Total course time 250hrs over 6 months.
  4. Theory test to be taken online from the comfort of your own home. Complete a practical exam once all case studies are completed, to ensure you are competent as a massage therapist before you will receive your Diploma in Swedish massage therapy.

Entry Requirements

Anatomy & Physiology level 3 certificate.
Be over the age of 18.
With a good understanding of verbal and written English.
We will require a copy of your qualifications before you attend (this must be sent to RCT training academy).

Course Fees

£595.00
A deposit of £200 is payable when booking with us.
You will pay a further £70.00 to carry out your practical examination at the Academy. You must complete all relevant forms of assessment and pass them to gain your certificate.

Examination system

To ensure a comprehensive and high-quality learning experience, all students must complete the following steps in order to qualify for their Diploma:

1. Pre-Course Online Assessment

Before attending your practical training, you are required to complete an online theory assessment at home. This must be submitted to your assigned tutor for review and approval. The assessment is designed to evaluate your foundational knowledge and ensure you are prepared for hands-on training.

2. Practical Training & Continuous Assessment

During your in-person practical training, you will be continually assessed by your tutor. This ensures you are developing the required skills and meeting the academy’s professional standards throughout the course.

3. Post-Training Case Studies

Upon completion of the practical training, you must complete and submit 50 case studies. These must be reviewed and approved by your tutor before progressing to the final stage.

4. Final Practical Assessment

Once your case studies have been successfully marked, you may schedule your final practical assessment. This final evaluation confirms your competence and readiness to receive certification.

5. Diploma Certification

After successfully passing the final practical assessment, you will be awarded your Diploma certificate, officially recognizing your achievement and professional qualification

Qualification attained

On successful completion of your training, you will be awarded with Practitioner’s Diploma.
