Swedish Massage Therapy Practitioner Accredited Diploma Course

Our 3-day Swedish Body Massage Training will teach you the skills required to offer a professional body massage treatment using classic Swedish Massage techniques.  This is a level 3 in full body massage allowing you to have the foundations required to move onto later specialised massage courses for further training like – hot stones, pregnancy, bamboo massage etc.

To gain a Diploma in Swedish Massage Therapy the student must:

  1. 1. Hold an Anatomy & Physiology level 3 qualification. This must be completed before attending this three-day Swedish massage training course.
  2. 2. 19.5 hours practical training over 3 weekends in the academy and carry out 50 hours of case studies to practice the skills learned. All 50 case studies must be fully completed to the required standard and submitted. You have up to 5 months to complete your case studies (5 people10 times or 10 people 5 times)
  3. 3. Theory test to be taken online from the comfort of your own home. Complete a practical exam once all case studies are completed, to ensure you are competent as a massage therapist before you will receive your Diploma in Swedish massage therapy.

Entry Requirements

Anatomy & Physiology level 3 certificate.
Be over the age of 18.
With a good understanding of verbal and written English.
We will require a copy of your qualifications before you attend (this must be sent to RCT training academy).

Insurance

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their insurance covers Swedish massage.

3 days + case studies.

Day one: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Day two: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Day three: 10.00am – 4. 00pm
Maximum of 4 students per class.

Course Fees

£525.00
A deposit of £200 is payable when booking with us.
You will pay a further £50.00 to carry out your practical examination at the Academy. You must complete all relevant forms of assessment and pass them to gain your certificate.

Accreditation

IPHM International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine.

Examination system

You will have to complete an online assessment in your own time at home this must be sent to and marked by your tutor before you attend your practical training to assess your knowledge.
Continual assessment will take place during your practical training.
You must also complete 50 case studies post training.
These must be completed and marked by your tutor before you  arrange to come in for your final practical assessment.
You will then receive your Diploma certificate.

Qualification attained

On successful completion of your training, you will be awarded with Practitioner’s Diploma.
