Pregnancy Massage Practitioner Accredited Diploma Course

Pregnancy massage offers a unique blend of relaxation and stimulation that nurtures a woman’s body during pregnancy. Pregnancy massage is allowed from 12 weeks (2nd trimester) of pregnancy. During this amazing time of physical and emotional change massage can be of enormous benefit to both mother and baby.

Using Swedish massage techniques you will leave to provide a pregnancy massage treatment. The course covers the stages of pregnancy and changes seen throughout pregnancy to give you a clear understanding of how to tailor the massage to the client’s individual needs. You will learn about safe essential oils that can be used as part of pre-blended massage oil blends to further enhance the clients massage experience.

To gain a Diploma in Pregnancy Massage Therapy the student must:

  1. Hold an Anatomy & Physiology level 3 qualification and Body massage certificate level 3. This must be completed before attending this one-day Pregnancy massage training course.
  2. Carryout 6.5 hours practical training in the academy and carry out 6 hours of case studies to practice the skills learned. All 6 case studies must be fully completed to the required standard and submitted. You have up to 8 weeks to complete your case studies.
  3. Theory test to be taken online from the comfort of your own home, plus complete all case studies after your practical training, to ensure you are competent in Pregnancy  massage before you will receive your Diploma in Pregnancy massage.

Pre-requisites

Anatomy & Physiology level 3 certificate.
Body massage Certificate level 3.               
Over the age of 18.
With good spoken and written English.
We will require a copy of your qualifications before you attend (this must be sent to RCT training academy).

Examination system

You will have to complete an online assessment in your own time at home this must be sent to and marked by your tutor before you attend your practical training to assess your knowledge. Continual assessment will take place during your practical training. You must also complete 6 case studies post training within 8 weeks. These must be completed and marked by your tutor before you receive your Diploma certificate.

Qualification attained

On successful completion of your training, you will be awarded with Practitioner’s Diploma.
